I don't need a name. But I think you should talk about him. Holding onto your feelings and repressing them is bad for you and it's just going to make you do more destructive things to yourself. So if you need to mope or cry, you've got me.

But now it's all different, things are changing and I feel like there's no room in his life for me anymore. That's not his fault. I know it's not, I'M the one with the weird feelings.

I always knew it'd happen, I just didn't think I'd feel so crummy when it did. I thought I'd deal with it. I'm good at dealing with stuff, you know me.

You're great at it, it's true. But you can't be great at everything all the time.
And it sucks but neither of you can control the way you feel. You can't help feeling the way you do but you can decide what you do about it.
Here's the thing. If you push it back, you leave it unresolved. You could end up spending the rest of your life either trying to bury your feelings or look for a substitute but they'll never be the same.
So you have to face it head on.
