Do you miss being able to put down roots somewhere? All this moving around, it can't be easy.
Unless you like that kind of thing.

You mean, do I get homesick?
Not really. I like to travel. It gives me a purpose, knowing the next job and figuring out how to complete it, moving on to the next one.
You get homesick easily?

But what about your family? Don't you miss them?

I wouldn't say that I get homesick easily, but I miss my friends. They were there for me when I really needed them and I couldn't imagine being away from them for years at a time.

And, you know, I'd like to settle down some day. If I find the right guy. :3

Nah. Not so much. I was adopted and I think I've never really felt like part of the family, anyway.
Sometimes I wonder if it's too late for me to settle down but I'd like it, you know. Wife, kids.
I just don't think my lifestyle is cut out for it.

Really? Adopted? But I'm sure your family still loves you. They raised you, right? They adopted you so they must have wanted to have a baby to love.

I guess that jet-setting lifestyle isn't good for a wife and kids.
What if... a woman was willing to wait for you?

Sometimes, I wonder.

And if a woman was willing to wait, that would be ideal.

I wouldn't mind waiting, as long as I knew that your heart was only with me.
