A large sinkhole appeared on South Main Street late this afternoon. As of now, there have been no casualties reported but witnesses say they saw a couple of people fall in. Rescue efforts are being made now to retrieve any missing people in the area.

Mrs. Blackbird is a gossip column written by an unknown "well-connected" person about town! Readers of the Hazleton Gazette can write in to her with juicy news, which she publishes in her column. Real names are not allowed, either of the people being gossiped about OR by the submitter of the gossip!

"There's a rumor going around town that one of the sons of the lady who owns Greenwood apartments is an undercover cop!"

Due to reports of a shooting at a known brothel downtown, residents of Hazleton are advised to avoid the old downtown core, within the vicinity of 4th avenue and Wright street. Police presence is heavy in the area and any witnesses are urged to report to HPD (the Hazleton Police Department) immediately.

According to our sources, there has been an influx of patients entering Hazleton clinics complaining that they don't feel as if they are in their own bodies. Doctors are baffled, believing it must be some mass hysteria or perhaps even something in our water. So far, no cause has been found, thus leaving us with no cure. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

• The feeling that you are no longer in your body.
• Experiencing "out of body" sensations.
• Seeing your body but you are not in it.

After a mysterious blockade appeared in a suburb in Hazleton, police have been called to action. The small town of Hazleton has requested outside action from the neighboring Portland PD in the hopes of getting to the bottom of the hostage situation. Those inside are said to be held against their will. If you or your family is being held within the blockade, reach out and call the Hazleton PD or the Portland PD as soon as you can. If this isn't solved within the next 48 hours, Portland reports they will be calling in the FBI.

Again, witnesses are encouraged to give their accounts to the police as soon as possible.
