Biography:
Due to his unique skills and trustworthy boy-next-door face, Alejo was fast-tracked into the department as an undercover cop. His father and grandfather were both cops as well, which made it easier for him to enter the force. That's also where he met Judah, his boyfriend!

He is quite religious despite his sexuality and is a regular at church (when he's not on assignment). There's a lot of tension within his family due to him being gay so he avoids going home. It's also why he moved in with his boyfriend, so as not to have to rub his homosexuality in his disapproving parents' faces.

Deep down, though, it saddens him that they were never able to accept him for who he is.

He slipped into a downward spiral after breaking up with his boyfriend, Judah Hyunh, and nearly died at the hands of a man he arranged to meet at a club. However, after being 'rescued,' Alejo has found a new lease on life and is going through a substance detox.
Abilities:
He can shift into any type of animal, rather than being bound to one form. However, this means that he cannot sustain his animal form for nearly as long as other shifters.
Notes:
He was Judah Hyunh's live-in boyfriend but after Alejo cheated on Judah with Jack Ripley, they broke up.

His pet names are Alejo, Al, Alexo and Allie and he has an older sister and a younger brother.

Because of his special abilities, he processes foreign substances faster due to a greatly accelerated metabolism. This means alcohol and drugs pass through him more quickly, acting on his system with less efficacy. It also means he can drink about three times more than a normal man.
