Biography:
Part of a group of trophy hunters that includes his older brother Callisto and younger sister Amalthea. Their leader is a man named Jupiter and all of the other members took on code names after the moons of Jupiter. They have opted to keep their real names confidential.

Io and his siblings were born to wealthy, aristocratic trophy hunters and have hunted for sport from a young age. Supported by their family and backed by wealth and power, they have led a relatively easy life. They fell in with a man named Jupiter who promised them big game and who led them to the small town of Hazleton where it is rumored that the Ancients have their roots. Eager to hunt the biggest supernatural being possibly in existence, Io and his siblings and their trophy hunting group have recently landed and taken up residence.

Aside from that whole 'killing needlessly for pleasure and sport' bit, Io is actually quite a gentleman. It's that rich family upbringing—his family is old money, unlike some of the newer trophy hunters out there. He likes to have a good time and isn't bogged down by unnecessary baggage or drama. Quite a refreshing change of pace, he thinks, from some of the other "boo hoo I'm so edgy and emo" hunters.

Though flirtatious, he is serious about monogamy and relationships and has a long-term male partner whom he began dating since they were in high school. They're still crazy in love, probably helped by the fact that Io is only home once in a blue moon. Distance apparently does make the heart grow fonder!
