Biography:
Iris is a nature photographer and wildlife conservationist for the National Parks Conservation Association. Currently she's stationed in Hazleton, working with local park rangers. She tends to be optimistic and bright, though a bit on the quieter side. Her friendly nature and willingness to pitch in and help makes her well-liked despite some of her odd habits and strange food preferences.

Growing up in Portland, Oregon, Iris was known for her love of the water but very few really knew the reason why. Both of her parents--outcasts from their respective clans--decided that they were better off on land and before Iris was born, the two of them transitioned to the overworld. Iris learned about her origins early on, and was educated in the proper ways to conceal her identity from others.

It wasn't until she reached her formative years that her true nature began to show itself. Her longing for the ocean became so great that she would spend all of her free time down by the pier, staring longingly at the depths. That desire became so great that once or twice she leaped in, and was mistaken for a suicide victim.

Now, Iris still spends a great deal of time at the beach when she isn't working. Usually she goes at night to avoid detection and swims for a few hours before the sun rises.
