- Ryang Jaesung is the cousin of Ryang Rae Geun, whose father (Andrew Ryang) heads up one of the werewolf packs in the area. Jaesung's father used to be the pack leader, but retired from his position when Jaesung contracted the virus which made him feral.
For some unknown reason, the virus not only changed Jaesung's nature as a werewolf, but also tainted his human mind, turning him from an easy-going man into a virtual maniac. Sadistic, cruel and cunning, he seems to have a perpetual and insatiable craving for bloodshed and mayhem. His parents tried to turn a blind eye on his changed nature but after a series of attacks on fellow supernatural beings, they decided to move Jaesung to the woods at the outskirts of town.
Jaesung lives alone, watched over by his parents who guard him from hunters passing through. His diet consists of forest creatures that he traps and hunts and he is something of a bogeyman among the ferals who visit the woods during the full moon.
