Biography:
Once upon a time, he was a regular old tanuki but then he was blessed--or cursed, perhaps--when he was killed by supernatural means. From there, he was reborn into the form of a yokai.

He's never exactly been... friendly. Even as a tanuki, he had little interest in the goings on of others. It annoyed him that he was attacked in such a way and it was sheer stubborn will and force of vengeance that brought him back in his new form.

As a protocol, Celestials bind with partners and Riku couldn't ignore the pull when his partner spawned upon the Earth. To Korea he traveled and he knew his partner immediately upon seeing him. There was no question that the ritual had to be performed, whether or not his partner wanted it or not.
Abilities:
As a bakemono, Riku is a form of yokai--or supernatural creature that hails from Japanese mythology. His skills are:
