Biography:
Born in what used to be South Korea, Tak Gunji was a warrior, a poet, and a romantic. He was to be wed to a renowned beauty and his future was secure. However, as with all good and beautiful things, it eventually came to a horrific end.

Vampires had infiltrated their homeland and they were secretly picking people apart. While he had heard the rumors of people being found with their bodies dry and mummified, as if something had sucked all the blood out of them.

As a warrior, he wanted to protect his people, his family, and the family of the woman he loved.

He was too late. His lovely bride to be was taken and bled dry and when Gunji made contact with her murderer, he had nothing but vengeance on his mind. Seeing the torture in his eyes and the desperation to either kill or be killed... his foe decided to give him something else: everlasting life.

When Gunji awoke to find himself one of the undead, his initial reaction was to try and kill himself but his sire had him chained in a prison cell to keep him from doing anything... rash.

Eventually, Gunji befriended one of the vampire's underlings and in doing so, plotted against him. The two destroyed the vampire, releasing the underling and Gunji from the separate prisons.

Gunji went on to amass a group of vampires that would be later referred to as The Blood Ring.
