TRIGGER WARNINGS for Suicide AND ABUSE.

Lemmie was born to a teenaged mother with psychic abilities herself. However, nobody believed her and she was thought to be schizophrenic because she heard voices. She gave birth to her son in a psychiatric hospital in Portland. Her son was taken away shortly afterward to be cared for by her ultra catholic parents.

There was no joy in this upbringing. For years, he thought his grandparents were his real parents. When he learned the truth, he was eight years old. The only reason he knew was because his mother didn't make it. She left a note and committed suicide. Lemmie didn't know what was going on until he was being dressed for the funeral.

He never knew his father because his mother never spoke of how she had conceived her son. There were notes, however. His grandparents didn't want him to see the shoebox that had been removed from her room at the hospital. He snuck behind their backs and looked at them anyway.

His mother loved him and missed him and often wondered how he was. She often wrote of her love for him. Reading those notes broke his heart and his distrust for his grandparents truly began to blossom.

After a physical altercation with his grandfather involving Lemmie not wanting to go to church one morning, Lemmie finally had enough. He was fourteen when he packed his bags and left home.

Eventually, he arrived in Hazleton by taking several buses. Deep down inside, he was afraid that he was his mother's child, just as everybody said. Why? Because he also heard voices. Those voices were what led him to Hazleton.

Now he's here and searching for answers.
Abilities:
He can hear the voices of spirits... but he cannot see them, which has led him to believe he's not quite all there.
