- Akinari grew up in a small fae community torn apart by hunters. His parents were killed in a raid when he was sixteen and he was left orphaned, in care of the state. After bouncing from foster home to foster home, he vanished one day and eventually turned up in Portland, on his own, panhandling to make ends meet.
He's a tough guy but he's not hardened, and has a seemingly lax, careless attitude towards life. But things matter. People matter--not that he's apt to show it.
He claims that he's fine on his own but some part of him still wants to belong, which is why his wanderings have led him to Hazleton. - Abilities:
- He reads and can absorb negative emotions, replacing them with euphoria. Prolonged exposure to his abilities can become addictive.
