Biography:
Yoojin was born Min Jinseok--a male--but all her life, she's felt trapped in the wrong body. Although she tried to date girls and attempted to portray the typical 'male' facade, it never felt right to her. When she could no longer hide her true identity, she left home and moved into a small apartment, in order to hide her problems from her parents and two siblings.

Eventually her close friends coaxed her into looking into sexual reassignment surgery and hormone replacement therapy, and after working hard to save up enough money, she moved to New York and started working towards transitioning to becoming a woman.

Due to her mother's ailing health, Yoojin was forced to come home and now works part-time at the local law office as a secretary.
Abilities:
She has the Sight; the ability to look past glamors and into hearts. Although she can also cast a glamor onto herself, her diluted fae blood means that her supernatural appearance is weak at best. Most notably, she has no wings. However, her magical aura is stronger than a typical hybrid's, leading her to believe that there must have been a witch in the family, somewhere in a previous generation.
Notes:
She is Alva and Ryland's bff and hates Aldon's guts.

Her English name is Vanessa, or Ness for short; it is also her stage name, as she dreams of becoming a singer.

Her family consists of a werewolf step-father, her half-fae mother, and a half-brother and half-sister (Lydia) from her mother's second marriage. Her human father lives in Maryland, having abandoned her mother when he discovered her fae heritage.

Her pet peeve is people who leave their used napkins on the lunchroom table! Pigs!

While still a man, she briefly dated Ella Belmont, but disappeared suddenly from the relationship out of fear that Ella would discover her secret and out her to the entire town.
