Biography:
His mother's coven is located in Humboldt, California, where Wren himself was born. Most of the witches in the coven were gifted with magic that helped them with their local businesses, such as plant growth and divination. Wren's mother was an absorption witch. Her abilities were only as strong as those around her. She could use their abilities by touching them and she kept that ability until she absorbed a new type of magic which would replace it.

She fell in love with Wren's father, a human with no knowledge of her status as a witch. Wren was their one and only child, as Wren's father would later join the military and never returned. Wren's mother hoped her son would be human like his father but found that she had passed on her magical ability of absorption.

Wren lived a fairly charmed life. His mother found another man, a man in the coven, who would become Wren's stepfather and love him as his own son. He would even have a pair of step siblings that he loved. Because of his family's connection to the coven and his mother's own abilities, Wren was never in the dark about his abilities and he was guided to use them.

Wren first left California when he was accepted to a university on the east coast. However, after graduating, he decided to come back to California to be with his family for a time before traveling north to Oregon, where he opened up his own cafe in a small town.
Abilities:
Magical absorption: he can absorb the magic of another witch by physical contact. He holds onto that type of magic until he touches another witch and gains their magic. He can only use one type of magic at any time.
