Biography:
Born in Thurmont, Maryland, Devlin's mother was a part of a witch's coven. So when her son showed magical prowess, it certainly wasn't much of a surprise to her. However, her coven didn't allow males to use magic, so she tried in vain to hide it from her fellow coven members. Eventually, the secret was discovered and Devlin's mother died in the resulting argument.

Devlin brought her back to life and the coven was so disgusted in his ability that they tried to kill him too. Being a youngster of only seven at the time, he didn't know what else to do except run and hide. He never knew his father and his mother was all he had. Without her, he was forced to leave the area, dodging other witches and even hunters as he made his way across the US on his own.

When he ended up in Oregon at thirteen, he was taken in by a bitter older woman who loved him and another teen boy as her own. She was a witch in her own right, which scared Devlin at first. But despite how mean most people saw her, he saw that she was actually a soft-hearted old woman at heart. The older woman owns an apartment building called Greenwood, where Devlin works as a handyman.
Abilities:
He can resurrect dead things... which isn't as awesome as it sounds.
Notes:
Devlin has a habit of stealing and hoarding items because of his time on his own and his fear of running out of things he needs.
