Biography:
Kinley's life was a pretty standard one. He grew up the middle son of three in the small town of Hazleton. His older brother got out of dodge immediately upon getting out of high school. His younger brother totally idolizes Kinley, which has always both amused and annoyed Kinley.

A recent high school graduate, Kinley hasn't decided what the hell he wants to do with his life. Part of him really wants to get out of Hazleton like his older brother but part of him wants to stick around, if not for himself than for his younger brother. Kinley was pretty bitter and sad when their brother left them behind and he doesn't want to do the same thing.

But there's not much to do in a place like Hazleton. There's Happy Burger. There's farm work. Hell, he could go be a park ranger. But none of it really speaks to him and he's really been feeling the pressure from his parents, who want him to get a real job and move out.

At the moment, he lives at home with his family, attends dance classes in town, and hangs out with his friends... But there's also the weird dark side to Hazleton, the side that Kinley always ignored as superstitious small town folk tales. Magic isn't real, even if a lot of people believe in witches. They're just like wiccans or whatever, they don't do actual magic--at least, that's what he told himself before he came across a strange card.

It looks like a tarot card, which isn't weird, since there are a lot of diviners and fortune tellers in Hazleton. The weird part is... the beautiful smokey ink creature on the card... doesn't stay put.

So far, Kinley's kept it to himself but... there's definitely more to Hazleton than he knows and he is currently looking into the creator of the card.
