Thank you soooooo much
I'm seriously freaking out

See
We've been friends FOREVER and he's the only person I actually talk to in person (don't ask)

I guess I just never pictured us together

He's totally a 9.5
I'm like
A 3

And everybody knows those just don't go together!
Plus I thought he was just trying to help me out by boosting my confidence, you know? But then
He might not be!

    Kwan Su Bin

Don't freak out, that won't get you anywhere.

I would make it clear you don't feel the same way and you never saw the two of you like that. I don't think not talking about will help.

I mean, if you have been friends FOREVER I am sure he'll understand.

I don't know the whole story, but I can say I am not sure how I would feel if my best friend shared this with me. I mean I am dating his brother.

...I know this is bad
It's totally BAD and you can judge the hell out of me because I would judge the hell out of me too

But
He's just
He's so... dreamy. And I KNOW, what am I, 12? But he is!

I don't HATE the thought of going out with him, it's just like

He could do so much better
And I've never gone out with anybody before so if this whole thing blows up in our faces, I'd lose him as a friend too and he's been the best friend anybody could ever have and

I'm totally rambling now, I'm so sorry. I sound like an idiot. Sorry.

Alsooo... I guess it's a good thing your best friend doesn't have feelings for you because
Awkwarrrrrd
But I mean what would you do if your best friend suddenly confessed? Would you try it? Or leave well enough alone??

    Kwan Su Bin

I see the dilemma, you have put some thought into this.

I don't think you sound 12 and I have no room to judge.

If he confessed to you and you think he is dreamy I say go for it.

He knows everything about you so I would think dating would be pretty easy.

And for me, it would be all bad, this might sound really bad of me but I might like it, Me and my best friend, ah I love him deeply but I love his brother too.

I've been thinking about this non-stop and I'm about to go CRAZY

So I should just
Just go for it?

But I'm such a loser
With dating
And in general irl but ESPECIALLY with dating

Do you have any tips? Like
Like what does a good date do? Should I flirt a lot? Or does that send a bad message?!
What kind of clothes do people wear on dates? A little formal? Really casual?

Eheheh... that's...
It's probably better to just not go there then. You wouldn't want to get between brothers, huh?

    Kwan Su Bin

Yeah, I say go for it.

Well a good date makes sure the other one is given all they want, they want the attention to be on them, so no phone's out

and don't talk about other people, you want it to be about the two of you.

Flirting is good but not too much, let it come naturally. If the moment feels right, go for it.

Dress to impress them wear what you feel good in.

But be yourself if they like you already you don't need to put a show on.

I am glad this is your dilemma and not mine

Ok
I'm taking notes, tell me everything you know!

Is the watermelon social a good dating venue?

Should i be buying him dinner or something after??

    Kwan Su Bin

I would say it's a good first date, you two can stroll around, play games, eat, and ride the rides. It gives you a lot to do in the time given. You can also show off any skills,

Dinner should be your second date, just snack at the watermelon social maybe get a drink after if it feels right.

I have to say this was has been the first time I help date a best friend

I usually get paid for my assistance, you know The Odd Jobb blog? It's mine and my best friends business.

Well your advice is the only thing standing between me not being a loser my entire life and total disaster
so no pressure or anything right?? hahahahaha

(Nervously babbling in a text)

Wait you want payment? How much do you charge? Is it per text or something??
I've seen those ads around town though

    Kwan Su Bin

Well, I feel super pressured now haha.

I really hope it works out.

No, no payment needed. I was just saying I am used to helping, it's my job.

It's an odd business for an odd guy. Some requests are pretty crazy
