Abandoned in the grasslands as a child after becoming infected by a feral, Suhru was picked up by raiders and taken to a tiny port city to be sold on the black market. The woman who bought him happened to be the cook aboard the Lycan. When she died, Suhru was allowed to remain as a general helper and lookout, being too young and inexperienced to do much else.

What he lacks in experience he makes up for in excessively worrying over everyone on the Lycan, afraid that they will all die and leave him alone again. He's stuck with the ears and the tail because he has terrible control over his abilities to shift and hasn't learned how to hide them yet.
